Whether you spend your days visiting the iconic Eden Project and the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan, marvelling at maritime heritage at Charlestown or watching the sailing fraternity at Fowey, trying out water sports at Polkerris, or bathing in the waters at Readymoney Cove there really is so much to enjoy.

Arrive at Harley House and get ready for a wonderful holiday. Step inside and bright interiors are ready to welcome you. The stylish kitchen with its striking bright blue cupboards, looks out over the garden and distant views of the surrounding countryside. Perch up at the breakfast-bar for a relaxed breakfast or a quick cuppa or perhaps enjoying a nice crisp glass of local wine keeping the chef company whilst they conjure up your holiday meals.

The country style dining-room has double doors leading out to the terrace and the most delightful garden which offers up a choice of places to sit out and enjoy the glorious flower borders which put on a fabulous show with the changing seasons. On chiller days, the conservatory provides the perfect spot to look out at the front garden or snuggle up in the living room in front of the electric wall fire and enjoy some holiday films together or perhaps some quiet time with a good book.

Also on the ground floor is a shower-room, ideal for rinsing off after a day on the beach along with bedroom one, which will suit those who are less mobile or want a little more privacy. A bright and delightful room, accessed through the dining-room it is set up as its own annexe with an en suite shower-room and separate kitchen/breakfast-room, perfect for those who might want to dine alone or prefer a little more space. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor along with a further shower-room. The second bedroom having the adding luxury of a free-standing bath in the bedroom, just the tonic for chilling out and relaxing.

Set at the top of a small residential road with open fields on two sides, you are close to the main road that leads into the local town of St Austell. Ideal for picking up those necessary provisions but most importantly for getting out and about. The Eden Project is on the doorstep, with giant biomes packed full of plants from around the world, children's play areas, zip wires and events throughout the year it makes for a great day out.

When in Cornwall a day to the coast is a must. Head off to historic Charlestown, with tall ships moored in the harbour, its picture perfect and the village is a delight with boutique shops and galleries and a great choice of places to eat and drink. For a day at the seaside there's so many beaches to choose from, you could pick a different one every day. For starters there's Par, Porthpean and Pentewan and Readymoney Cove you can join the open water swimmers for a early morning swim.

The trendy sailing town of Fowey is well worth a visit. Take a pew at one of the many waterside eateries, treat yourself to some retail therapy, join a boat trip, kayak up the river or enjoy the thrill of a sea safari.

The south coast has a bounty of glorious gardens and The Lost Gardens of Heligan has to be top of the list. Add to this Tregrehan, Marsh Villa and Pinetum and you will be inspired to create your own little oasis when you return home.
