From the moment you arrive you're sure to feel relaxed as you step inside this stylish cottage and enjoy the home-from-home comforts that await you. The inviting hallway leads to the sitting-room where there is comfortable seating, a Smart TV, DVD player and plenty of books and games to keep you entertained.

Next door is a delightful kitchen which overlooks the garden. It's a pleasure to cook meals here whilst chatting to the rest of party who sit around the dining-table. It has everything you need including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

After a busy day exploring head upstairs where your find two bedrooms; a spacious king-size double with outstanding views across the Kent countryside and a twin room which enjoys views of the garden and the surrounding farmland. There is a large shower-room with a shower and WC and a baby bath is available upon request.

Venturing into the garden, the decked area with a charcoal barbecue and rattan garden furniture is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon aperitif. Listen to the bird song and the sounds of the nature or get the family together for a game of Boules. There is a secure shed where you can store bikes, muddy boots, and wellies. Private parking is available on the drive for one car.

Walkers will love the abundance of footpaths that lead from the door through the Kent Weald passing through local vineyards and surrounding countryside.

The traditional market village of Lenham (2 miles) has a tree-lined market square surrounded by historic buildings and has a good range of shops, supermarkets and pubs. There are footpaths to the North Downs Way and Stour Valley Walk.

There is also the Bluewater Shopping Centre or McArthurGlen, the designer outlet in Ashford. Or explore the nearby villages and towns of Maidstone, Tenterden, Charing and Headcorn, where you'll also find some lovely independent shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants.

Enjoy a ride on the Kent and East Sussex Railway or the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and take in the beautiful countryside. Or visit the iconic White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle.

Other places to visit include Sissinghurst Castle, Godinton House, Leeds Castle, Kent Downs, Bedgebury Forest, Howletts Wild Animal Park, Port Lympe Animal Park, The Big Cat Sanctuary, the city of Canterbury or the historic dockyards in Chatham.

For a day at the coast visit Whitstable with its annual oyster festival or Camber Sands a beach in East Sussex which has the most amazing sand dunes. There is also Dungeness, an extraordinary place that has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The barren landscape attracts many visitors throughout the year including artists and photographers and is a place you will not forget.
