If you were looking for cottages like Pond Cottage, how about trying these:

Pond Cottage is an utterly charming, converted former stable block situated on the award-winning Frasers Estate in the heart of Kent.

Perfect for couples and friends, this lovingly furnished cottage sits in a rural setting with access to an onsite restaurant and bar.

Gorgeous beams and double-aspect windows in the bedrooms and living area add to the charm and character of the beautiful cottage.

The main bedroom with en suite 'slipper' style bath is wonderfully romantic with a gorgeous king-size four-poster bed, luxury linens and soft furnishings using French Casamance fabrics. There's an oak double wardrobe, bedside cabinets, dressing table, chest of drawers and a television with Freeview.

The second bedroom has a charming French double bed that is swathed in luxury linens and sumptuous throws and cushions. It also has a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, Freeview television and an en suite bathroom.

The open plan living-room and dining-area is cosy with a dining-table and two comfortable sofas and an armchair. It's the perfect place to cuddle up, watch a movie or simply unwind and relax after a busy day exploring Kent countryside.

The kitchen is amazingly equipped with everything you need to cook up a holiday treat. There is a Smeg fridge, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave and washing machine.

If you don't fancy cooking there is an onsite bar and restaurant where you can pre-book brunches, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals all of which are locally-sourced and sympathetically crafted. Meals can be taken in the restaurant, the outdoor terrace (during warmer months) or delivered to the cottage.

Throughout the year the Estate have workshops where you can pre-book cookery, music, floristry and photography courses.

Don't forget to pack your wellies or hiking boots! There are some great walks around the farm and the village of Egerton. The village of Pluckley is nearby and was a setting for the 1990s television series, The Darling Buds of May.
