Nestled on the edge of the valley, near the oh so pretty Cornish village of Newmill, this darling escape for six is a wonderful family getaway. Light, bright interiors offer stylish, laid-back charm. Set in the heart of West Cornwall, you're surrounded by some of the most beautiful coastline Cornwall has to offer with plenty of things to see and do, whether it's coastal walks, subtropical gardens, excellent eateries, or swimming in crystal clear waters.
The Bowjy is tucked away down a narrow drive. Offering reverse level living, step into the open plan living and dining-room, where an abundance of glass has created a peaceful, serene escape boasting distant sea views. Large patio doors at the centre of the room can be pulled back on warmer days to let the blissful sea breezes in. We just love the ochre sofas, which compliment the neighbouring daffodil fields which flourish with colour in the spring. Next door you'll find the well-equipped kitchen, which is such a lovely space to prepare family feasts and laid-back lunches.
There are three sweet bedrooms to choose from. Take the stairs (in the living room) down to two pretty bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom is a beautiful bright, light and tranquil room. The king-size bed is super-comfy, just made for leisurely lie-ins and breakfast in bed. French doors lead outside - perfect for a morning coffee listening to the birdsong. The second bedroom has two single beds, which are ideal for our younger guests. To reach the third bedroom and second bathroom, take the stairs leading off from the kitchen. Here you will find a cosy twin bedroom with doors leading out onto the garden.
Outside, The Bowjy has a stunning balcony which makes the most of the sea and valley views. Sit in the Cornish sunshine and relax, the perfect holiday pastime!
