If you're searching for peace and tranquility, a remote location, and somewhere to simply switch off and get back to nature - this is perhaps the perfect spot. With the icing on the cake being a friendly pub only one mile away for those evenings you wish to give chef a night off.
The charming interiors perfectly complement your countryside location; exposed beams and brick, flagstone flooring, and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The barn enjoys reverse level living, so you'll step inside to find the three comfortable bedrooms on the ground floor. Bedroom one is a sweet double room, with an en suite shower-room, bedroom two is a charming double room, and bedroom three is a cute twin room. You're sure to enjoy an uninterrupted night's sleep here - surrounded by nothing but the sweet sound of glorious countryside. Bliss! You'll also find the family bathroom on this floor.
Head upstairs to find the lovely and light open plan living space. The sitting area has three comfortable sofas, ideal for relaxing in the evening or perhaps indulging in an afternoon snooze! You might find yourself spending an hour or two gazing out to the endless rural views, too. The kitchen and dining area makes for a sociable space - the designated chef can rustle up a feast while everyone else gathers around the dining-table or sinks into the sofas. From here, you can head outside to the lovely terrace area. This is an idyllic spot to enjoy your morning coffee or light the barbecue for an evening feast. There's also a garden area, where the kids will love playing in the sunshine and you can sit back and soak up the invigorating countryside air, not forgetting the barn is surrounded by three acres of woodland and fields to explore. What a dream…
Your location in Dartmoor really is special, accessing the barn via a charming country lane, with only a few farm vehicles to negotiate, your location is truly unspoilt. The barn is located only three miles from the historical town of Ashburton, with its antique shops, galleries, and lovely places to eat. Dartmoor is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year, and you can spend blissful days discovering the glorious moorland and admiring the tors - there are plenty of walking and cycling trails to choose from! And don't forget to visit some of the idyllic towns and villages nearby, including Widecombe in the Moor, Tavistock, and Chagford, to name just a few.
