SingleSituated in the pretty village of Poughill, on the road to Northcott Mouth Beach, you will find this delightful holiday abode. Perfectly placed for the fabulous beaches of Bude with the quaint fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac just a short drive away and a pub in the village you really have found the perfect holiday cottage, you can even walk to Crooklets beach with your four-legged friend or venture to the shops all being 30 minutes away by foot.
With oodles of charm and character, you will feel instantly at home from the moment you arrive here. The ground floor is home to a cosy sitting-room where you will find a warming wood-burner for cooler months and a comfy sofa where you can snuggle up in front of the Smart TV. The separate dining-room has traditional slate floors and a fabulous original ornamental range which wouldn't look out of place in Downton Abbey! Throughout the house you will find some gorgeous pieces of traditional furniture like the dresser complete with pretty crockery and the beautiful, tiled floor in the hallway. In the kitchen you will find all the equipment you'll need to cook a holiday meal including the all-important dishwasher and access to the garden where you can wander out and enjoy your morning cuppa in the fresh air or enjoy a perfect sundowner after a day of holiday fun.

Being a traditional terraced Cornish cottage, the free village car park can be found 100 yards from the front door, however on arrival you can pull in just past the row of cottages and unload your suitcases.
Located just a mile away from the coast, you have found a fabulous north Cornwall location here. Poughill is a charming village with a sprinkling of quintessential thatched cottages and a renowned local pub, The Preston Gate Inn, the perfect place to dine if the chef wants a night off and even the family dog can join you. Walkers should head out on one of many footpaths in the area to explore the surrounding countryside or head for the coast path with stunning sea vistas in either direction. The bustling seaside town of Bude is just a mile away, a mecca for surfers and beach goers and if you'd prefer to swim in calmer waters the sea pool awaits. You will also find a good choice of eateries and independent shops here and a great golf course.
Further along the coast you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to quaint fishing villages. Boscastle is a charming place to visit or perhaps visit Port Isaac the home of the Fisherman's Friends and of course Doc Martin. If you head into Devon a visit to Clovelly is a must, a gorgeous picturesque village with charming cobbled streets and a sheltered harbour. A word of warning though, the street down to the harbour is very steep! Another beauty spot in Devon is Hartland Point with spectacular views and lighthouse.
