If you were looking for cottages like The Eyrie, how about trying these:

Welcome to The Eyrie, a delightful, reversed layout retreat with spectacular views across Falmouth's wonderful harbour. Located a few minutes away from Falmouth high street, you couldn't find a better place to explore this wonderful town and its beautiful surroundings.

True to its name, The Eyrie is elevated on the second and third floor which gives you the most amazing outlook. This old building is rich in history and has plenty of quirks, please do take care on all the stairs in the property.

The two lovely bedrooms with their own en suite bath/shower room are found on the second floor, perfect for dumping your bags and then heading up to the top floor to take in that view. The main bedroom has a gorgeous king-size bed with wooden head and foot boards sitting in the centre of the bedroom, with a large bay window with views over the harbour and a beautiful rocking chair offers the perfect place to delve into your favourite book with a warming cup of coffee. The main bedroom also comes complete with a fantastic en suite which houses an inviting bathtub, ideal for a relaxing evening in after a day out on the beach. The second bedroom has an en suite shower-room, no luxury has been spared. This bedroom is home to a brilliant 'zip and link' bed which can be configued as either two delightful single beds or an indulgent king-size bed, depending on your party make-up.

Venture upstairs to the top floor and you'll find the fabulous open plan living space, due to the reversed layout there are great views everywhere you look and plenty of windows to peer out a gaze across the harbour. A compact, well-equipped kitchen sits on the other side of the space and has everything you'll need on your holiday to cook up a storm. Once dinner is ready, gather around the wooden dining-table and enjoy a social evening with your friends and family. A Smart TV is tucked into the corner of the snug seating area, offering plenty of entertainment in the evenings.

From the living area, you're able to access the fantastic roof terrace that provides plenty of places to relax and take in the views. A wooden seating area offers the perfect place to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining while the inviting outdoor furniture is ideal for stargazing once the sun dips below the horizon. You are also able to access the terrace from the road below with a steep, spiral staircase leading up the building (please be aware due to fire safety regulations there is no gate on the external stairs).
