KingWelcome to The Loft, a gorgeous barn sat in a wonderfully secluded location in magical Mithian. With stylish interiors and fabulous walks right on your doorstep, this really is a great cottage to retreat to and enjoy the Cornish coastline, and a small four-legged friend is most welcome too.
An inviting entrance hall greets you as you venture through the front door, opening up into the light and airy open plan living space. Pastel tones and wooden details create a charming relaxing atmosphere while the indulgent wood-burning stove keeps the space nice and cosy once the sun dips below the horizon. The gorgeous modern kitchen has everything you'll need to cook up a storm on your holiday. A delightful breakfast-bar provides a superb spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Open up the double doors leading to the patio and let in a fresh Cornish breeze. A Smart TV sits at the centre of the living space, providing a great source of entertainment in the evenings. Tucked in the corner of the room you'll find an intimate dining-table perfect for cosy suppers after a busy day exploring the north coast.
You'll also find a handy utility-room downstairs complete with a washing machine while a beautifully finished shower-room offers a great place to refresh yourself after a day out on the beach.
Venture upstairs and you'll be greeted by two fantastic bedrooms that are both gorgeously furnished. Bedroom one is home to a fabulous 'zip and link' bed that can either be used as two single beds or a luxurious super-king size bed. Bedroom two has brilliant high ceilings and an inviting double bed as well as plenty of storage for all of your holiday essentials. Upstairs you will also find a beautiful family bathroom with a modern shower and an indulgent bathtub.
Outside, you'll find a delightful sitting area for soaking up the Cornish sun. There are wonderful views on display from the secluded patio and is just the place for morning coffee, long leisurely lunches or watching the sunset over the countryside.
If you're looking for a bite to eat, the fantastic Miners Arms is a beautiful 16th Century pub and is only a short walk away. Hop in the car and drive down to the picturesque village of St Agnes which is becoming one of Cornwall's most sought-after destinations. Food-wise, whether it's a laid-back cafe or an upmarket eatery you're covered. Some of our top tips include The Tap House, Taste and of course The Driftwood Spars, famous for its beer. For fish and chips there's Fission in the village or a short drive to Perranporth to try Pickwick's and you won't be disappointed! The St Agnes bakery, a favourite with the Poldark film crew, does great pasties and Wheal Kitty, a fashionable spot, has the Canteen and is home to the trendy Finisterre clothes store.
The coastline, cliffs and beaches around the village are a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site with breathtaking views from the coastal footpaths, perfect for walking with your four-legged companion who is most welcome here!
For those wishing to explore further afield, the Eden Project, the popular seaside resort of St Ives, the shopping city of Truro and the maritime town of Falmouth all make an easy day excursion and are just a short drive away.
