Surrounded by gorgeous countryside and with stunning views of the river Tamar and beyond, Kernow River View offers the best of both worlds, being within walking distance of the historic town of Saltash, a short drive away from the vibrant maritime city of Plymouth and just a hop, skip and a jump away from the sandy beaches of south Cornwall and further afield, Kernow River View really does offer the best of location for exploring far and wide.

There is parking just outside the property, you can then walk around to the steps leading up to Kernow River View which sits on the first floor, taking advantage of the southerly view from this elevated position the two perfectly positioned chairs offer the perfect spot to watch the world go by no matter the season. Walk through to the open plan living-room offering the perfect place to gather at the start of the day. The kitchen has all the equipment you will need to create a holiday meal, all served from the foldaway table which is easily stowed away when not in use. A Smart TV provides entertainment after a busy day of exploring. There are two south-facing bedrooms at Kernow River View, a pretty double bedroom with a dreamy view towards the river and a twin bedroom with yet another glimpse of the river and beyond, ideal for either children or adults alike. The recently refurbished family shower-room is the perfect place for a refreshing shower. There is an interconnecting door to the owners' house, however this is fully sounded proofed and locked so your privacy is guaranteed.

The friendly, discreet on site owners are happy to share their wonderful large garden with you so why not take a picnic and enjoy spending time admiring the stunning views of the river. Children should be supervised on the steps to the property and in the gardens at all times. With so much to explore nearby and stunning views from dawn until dusk, a getaway at Kernow River View will leave you with happy holiday memories.

A holiday on the Cornwall/Devon border really does bring the best of both worlds and not forgetting the China Fleet Golf and Country club yards from the property offering an array of family activities. Golf lovers will be spoilt for choice, as well as Chine Fleet there is also St Mellion Estate just a fifteen minute drive away or the stunning moorland golf club at Yelverton under half an hour away. Head back over into Devon and enjoy the maritime city of Plymouth which is steeped in history and quite literally on your doorstep. Discover Royal William Yard with a great selection of eateries and boutiques, or perhaps The Hoe with panoramic sea views and an art deco Grade II Listed lido, perfect for the swimmers in the group and voted one of the best 10 in Europe! Then there is the recently opened Box Plymouth and the South West's major new museum, art gallery and archive.

Seasonal passenger ferries ply the waters around the picturesque bays and coves and you can hop on board from Royal William Yard to the delightful villages of Cawsand and Kingsand, perfect for a family day on the beach. The charming village of Calstock lies up river on the banks of the river Tamar where you can walk along a pretty footpath to the enchanting Cotehele Estate, owned by the National Trust and worth a visit for gorgeous woodland walks, a river quay, watermill and workshops. Cyclists will love this area too, with miles of scenic routes around old engine houses and beautiful countryside. The wilds of Dartmoor are a drive away and perfect for walkers to explore miles of dramatic moorlands and woods.
