Terraced Castle Cottage sits down a quiet country lane, blissfully surrounded by verdant countryside where nature lovers will enjoy endless walks from the doorstep to explore miles of marshland and woodlands. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to the fabulous beaches and gorgeous fishing villages of the Roseland, then Castle Cottage is what you are looking for!

The adventure really begins on your journey down the quiet country lanes of the Roseland, through pretty villages and glorious countryside with glimpses of fabulous beaches along the way. Castle Cottage is situated down a quiet country lane with parking opposite the cottage. This fabulous traditional cottage is beautifully crafted, retaining lovely original features which marry perfectly with the cosy furnishings. The sitting-room is cosy and relaxing with comfy sofas and a wood-burner to keep you warm throughout the seasons. Step through to the kitchen/diner and a light spacious area welcomes you. A pine table and benches provide the ideal place to gather everyone around to plan the day ahead and the kitchen has all you need to cook a culinary masterpiece including the all-important dishwasher!

Climb the stairs and three pretty bedrooms await along with the family bathroom. Dreamy bedroom one has a comfy double bed and a lovely outlook. Pretty bedroom two has twin beds, ideal for either adults or children, and bedroom three has delightful bunk-beds which the kids will adore. The spacious bathroom has a bath with shower over, perfect for either a long soak or refreshing shower after a busy day.

Step outside and you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to a quiet spot for your morning coffee. To the front of Castle Cottage there's a lovely bench overlooking the lane and tranquil countryside, at the back through the stable-doors from the kitchen there is an enclosed patio. Sit under the sun umbrella surrounded by shrubs and sub-tropical plants and you will relax into your holiday to the sound of birdsong. Castle Cottage has all the ingredients for the ultimate Cornish getaway.

A gentle wander down the lane from Castle Cottage and you will find yourself in a magical setting with marshlands, woodlands and "pretty as a picture" Sett Bridge, perfect for a game of Pooh sticks! Just up the road the local pub The Kings Head welcomes you, ideal if the chef would like a night off. Just a short drive away St Mawes is a vibrant fishing village with a great selection of eateries where you can choose from fine dining to fish and chips out of the paper on the seawall and everything in-between. A seasonal passenger ferry plies the waters to the eclectic maritime town of Falmouth where a day can be spent shopping, dining and visiting the impressive Maritime Museum.

Portscatho is also a short car ride away, where The Hidden Hut sits overlooking gorgeous Porthcurnick beach and diners sit side by side on wooden benches enjoying the freshest of local produce. If you are looking for a local farm shop to stock up on holiday goodies then try Curgurrell where you will find a great selection of home-grown meats, freshly caught fish, artisan bread and cheeses. Travel further afield and the mighty biomes of the Eden Project provide an interesting day out for all the family or perhaps The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time since WW1 and then thirty years ago restored to their former glory. However you plan to spend your blissful holiday days you will create fabulous memories at Castle Cottage.
