Enclosed by lush greenery and tropical foliage, you will discover Poldhu; a charming shepherd's hut perfect for those looking to escape the city and immerse themselves in nature. The surrounding garden features a huge variety of exotic plants and delicate flowers ensuring a unique retreat for anyone who visits. The hut's gorgeous, sun-soaked exterior is also complemented by a cosy, rustic interior meaning that rain or shine, there will always be somewhere to relax in this excellent one bed property.

Upon entering the hut, you will be greeted by an intimate interior full of character and charm. Freshly cut flowers and vibrant yellow curtains give the space a homely feel while the arched ceiling and superbly finished wooden walls cover the hut with extraordinary texture. A hugely inviting double bed sits snugly in the corner, topped with plenty of plush cushions to snuggle up with in the evening.

Wake up to the morning sun flooding through the double Dutch doors which open the space up to the freshness of its natural surroundings. Further down the hut you will find a compact kitchen with everything you will need for your cosy break. The beautiful wooden cabinets are accompanied by modern accessories such as a fridge/freezer, microwave and plug in hob, while the sturdy wooden work surface is the perfect place to prepare delicious meals. Alongside the kitchen is a charming dining-area. Enjoy relaxing breakfasts and cosy suppers on the rich wooden table and accompanying chairs while gazing out the window towards the idyllic garden.

Once with sun dips below the horizon, custom overhead lamps drench the space with their warm, restful glow, encouraging you to wind down after a busy day exploring the Cornish coastline. Select one of the complimentary books from the hand-crafted shelves or settle down on the luxurious bed and enjoy the flatscreen TV, perched above the dining-table at the end of the hut. Venture through the door located by the kitchen and you will find a delightful wood-clad bathroom with all the utilities you will need. Refresh yourself in the fabulous modern shower which accompanies a beautifully crafted toilet and sink. Outside, soak up the evening sun with the splendid garden right at your fingertips on Poldhu's raised deck.

Enjoy al fresco dining from the barbecue on the outdoor table and chairs, complete with a parasol, or take a moment on the rounded bench and listen out for the gentle trickling of the garden pond.

There is another hideaway on site Porth Chapel Cabin (4973) and Beryas Cottage (4970), but please note the properties are positioned in a way so you have plenty of privacy.

After you've taken in Poldhu's beautiful surroundings, venture out and explore everything that southwest Cornwall has to offer. Set back from the main road between Penzance and Lands' End, just past Newlyn in a village named Buryas Bridge, is where you will find Poldhu. This road can be busy during peak seasons, as it's the gateway to some of Cornwall's best beaches. However, your hideaway is nestled away offering total privacy amongst a tropical Eden. Having easy access to this road also means you can reach many stunning landmarks with total ease either by car or on the number 8 bus from the handy bus stop that's right on your doorstep. Newlyn and Penzance are only a five-minute drive away and have a great selection of local eateries and boutique shops to be explored. However, if you are looking for more secluded spots to discover and explore, there are plenty of options. Trewidden Garden is only a 15 minute walk away and offers a range of trails through its 15 acre Cornish garden. If you are looking to visit the coast, Mousehole is a quaint fishing village just three miles south of Newlyn. The village houses many bistros and art galleries in buildings that have been around since the 13th Century and is renowned for its beautiful harbour. Further south is Lamorna Cove, a secluded pebble beach that's accessible via the brilliant South West Coast Path which is the UK's longest national trail. If you're willing to go a bit further afield, there is nowhere in the world quite like the Minack Theatre, a beautifully unique and breathtaking spot that sits above Porthcurno beach, only an 18 minute car journey away.
