Coastal chic and pure delight are waiting to give you the warmest of welcomes at this gem of a cottage - it really does live up to its name.
Located in the utterly charming village of Charlestown with only the shortest of strolls to the historic harbour, beach and coastal footpaths, along with the shops, galleries and a fabulous choice of places to eat and drink, it makes for a great coastal getaway for families and couples alike. You'll be smitten from the minute you arrive.
Stroll up the garden path that leads you to this lovingly restored end of terrace cottage. The cosy sitting/dining-room is furnished with comfort and style, in tones that remind you of your coastal location and after an exhilarating winter stomp along the coastal footpath, treat yourself to an evening cosied up in front of the warming wood-burner.
The cottage kitchen, with its sweet breakfast-bar, is perfect for creating your holiday meals but with such a great choice of eateries on your doorstep, we don't think there will be much cooking on the agenda, and who can blame you, you are holiday after all.
The stylish shower-room on the ground floor, is ideal for a quick rinse of sandy toes after a day on the beach or to grab a sneaky croissant on the way to your morning shower!
Leisurely breakfasts are best served up in the garden, with a choice of places to sit out and should you need to relax any more, chill away on the loungers in the back garden, best enjoyed as the sun sets at the end of a perfect day. And when you've reached the end of the day and you're ready to turn in Coastal Pearl has three pretty bedrooms waiting to send you off into the land of nod. The second bedroom has the flexibility of a 'zip and link' bed which can be made up as twin beds or a king-size if you want to snuggle up together.
Charlestown offers up a certain charm and magic at any time of the year and it's a great spot for an escape to Cornwall. Once you have marvelled at the historic tall ships in the harbour - best enjoyed from a pew whilst enjoying some good old Cornish hospitality - head off along the coastal footpath to marvel at breathtaking seascapes around every corner. For Poldark fans, Charlestown was one of the favoured locations for filming the popular TV series, so you can seek out the filming locations and walk in the footsteps of Poldark himself!
If you crave feeling the sand between your toes and swimming in crystal clear waters, enjoy a day at the beach, all within walking distance and if you fancy venturing a little further afield, this stretch of coastline is dotted with great beaches, you can try a different one every day.
For the green fingered amongst you, glorious gardens are in abundance from the world famous Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project to March Villa and Pinetum and a little further along the coast the sailing town of Fowey is well worth a visit.
