Getting out and exploring your surroundings, and the many hot spots and attractions which are within easy reach via car, is a must. However right on your doorstep you have the magical woodlands to explore, which have stood the test of time and are simply magnificent. Or perhaps a romantic walk along the river as the sun goes down sounds picture perfect. You will be treated to this and much more in this beautiful location, your four-legged friends will be delighted.
The charming town of Loddiswell offers all the amenities you will require to make your holiday as relaxed as possible. Venturing further afield will find you in numerous hot spots and 'must see' villages and towns; Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Thurlestone to name a few. The cafes, eateries and general offerings of the surrounding villages make exploring a must, as there is truly so much to see and do. The stunning sandy beaches of Bantham, Bigbury-on-Sea and Thurlestone are amongst the best in the country and are all within seven or eight miles from your doorstep. Good luck dragging the little ones away!
Or perhaps something a little vaster and more breathtaking, if so, you are only a few miles from the stunning scenery of Dartmoor. Trekking around these magnificent lands will entertain for hours, especially as the 'locals' are exceptionally cute and rather cheeky.
