Situated in the grounds of Compton Verney, a restored Grade I Listed 18th Century mansion in the county of Warwickshire and surrounded by 120 acres of Grade II classical parkland, this beautifully renovated, split-level, first floor coach house apartment offers guests generous space to relax and enjoy this stunning setting.

Perfectly located for exploring William Shakespeare's birthplace and the medieval villages and sights and sounds of the Cotswolds, No 4 The Coach House offers guests stately luxury living with a contemporary and homely twist. Spend time chilling with a good book on a comfy sofa in front of the fire, cooking up local seasonal delights in the fabulous kitchen or simply sit and gaze out of the window admiring the lake and parkland views. Escape the everyday and take yourself on a journey through the historic Capability Brown landscape, yours to discover at your leisure once the park gates close.

From the moment you drive through the private electric gates and follow the lane up to the property, you will be wowed by the views passing the lake over the pretty stone lower bridge up through the park to No 4 The Coach House.

This beautiful first floor apartment consists of three stylish bedrooms situated over two separate floors. Two of these can be found on the first floor, both with access to their own bath/shower room, and there is an additional cloakroom on this floor. On the upper floor, complete with its own cosy sitting-area, is the main suite oozing character with original beams and a stunning shower-room to complement the fabulous double bed.

4 The Coach House is the perfect location for a family or group of friends to enjoy the tranquility of a historic rural estate setting whilst staying in a luxurious, comfortable and welcoming apartment.

Occasionally Compton Verney is used for weddings, and you may hear the distant drift of music and laughter (please check with the Sales team if you wish to come when no weddings are planned).

Compton Verney fully opened to the public as a major nationally accredited art gallery in 2004 and it houses six permanent collections throughout the year. A new restaurant opened in the park in 2021 offering fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced dishes alongside the Pod in The Park, where a range of takeaway food and drinks can be purchased.

The nearest town to visit is Stratford upon Avon. Enjoy a tour on an open-top bus, a gin tasting experience at the local distillery named after its famous playwright or while away the afternoon on a cruise down the river; be as active or inactive as you choose, there is something for everyone. Warwick, famous for its historic charm, magnificent castle and independent shops will also tempt you with a fantastic range of places to eat and drink, so be sure to plan some time here. A trip to Leamington Spa is a must, home to the natural spa springs that gave this pretty market town its name.

Warwickshire is the hub of UK car manufacturing for both Land Rover and Aston Martin, both open all year for factory tours, so anyone keen on cars will be very happy. Take a trip to the British Motor Museum only 7.9 miles from Compton Verney, and maybe book a visit before your stay to avoid missing out.
