The location of this idyllic cottage hosts a range of activities for all tastes - boating, kayaking, golfing, walking, glorious sandy beaches, castles and local attractions in an area speckled with historic picturesque towns and seaside villages, within a short drive along the waterway and beyond to the coast. Stroll to the marina, waterside bars and restaurants, local shops and the West Pill nature reserve and cycle trail. The Jolly Sailor on the riverside in Burton serves delicious pub food, or the Ferry Inn at Llanstadwel.

The popular walled, seaside town of Tenby is a 20 minute drive away, discover the magical beaches, wander the cobbled streets, dine al fresco in the many restaurants or cafes or take the boat to Caldey Island, where the Cistercian monks have farmed the land for over 1,000 years, today producing perfume and chocolate etc all of which are sold in the island's shop.

Do visit the birthplace of Henry VII in the splendid Pembroke Castle nearby and stunning Freshwater West beach is a surfer's paradise and where parts of Harry Potter were filmed, where Dobby lies in peace, tucked away in the sand dunes.

Being ideally located in mid Pembrokeshire, the glorious beaches of Broad Haven and Little Haven are within a short drive, or why not take a trip to north Pembrokeshire to visit St David's Cathedral and the spectacular beaches of Newgale and Whitesands. Children will love Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon Water Park and Heatherton Activity Centre.
