Located in the heart of this charming quintessential Cornish seaside village, Trepen is a super-special hideaway which has been lovingly restored by the local family who have owned the cottage for generations. Cute as a button and pretty as a picture, this former fisherman's cottage is a retreat of unassuming beauty and a perfect love nest for couples wishing to tuck themselves away or smaller families who want a seaside retreat, minutes from the harbour and beach in Mousehole.

Trepen is a lovely semi-detached cottage, with an air of calming tranquility from the moment you step inside. Bursting with treasures which hint at its fishing history, with original art and limited edition prints giving an insight into the family that lived there and the history of their beloved village. The interior is now a perfect blend of more traditional and modern providing comfortable accommodation right in the heart of the village. Downstairs is completely open plan featuring a neat kitchen with Nespresso Virtuo coffee coffee machine, original granite fireplace and a traditional family dining-table. Upstairs is a double bedroom with sea views to St Clement's Isle and Mount's Bay. The second bedroom is a single with a window seat and the same wonderful views.

At the front of the cottage is a delightful terraced area (shared with the cottage next door), this is a great spot for sitting in the sun and listening to the morning bird song with a cup of coffee.

Mousehole is Cornwall at its absolute best and is fast becoming one of its most popular destinations. It's obvious to see why! Mousehole is a very special village with the prettiest of harbours and excellent restaurants, tea shops, pubs and galleries tucked away down its higgledy-piggledy lanes. Its origins date back as far as the 12th Century when it was the main fishing port in Mount's Bay, and much of its old-world charm has remained.

Sennen Cove with its glorious surfing, Marazion overlooking St Michael's Mount and Porthcurno with the iconic Minack Theatre built into the cliffs are all within easy reach. Around this area there are many wonderful walks, the coastal path to Lamorna is one of the prettiest you will find anywhere in Cornwall. There is also a good bus service from the town which can help you explore the area as well.

The working fishing harbour of Newlyn and bustling town of Penzance are only 10 minutes' drive away. Slightly further is St Ives, home to the Tate gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, six fantastic beaches and plenty of shops and restaurants to explore.
