This semi-detached Cornish cottage has plenty of quintessential features such as the inglenook fireplace, low door frames and decorative Aga. Riversleigh Cottage offers fabulous accommodation, entering this lovely property into the sun-room you instantly feel like you are on holiday, the stable-door opens to the open living space. The kitchen/diner has everything you might need for a lovely meal and, separated by the stairs, the snug sitting-room is a rich ochre and has lush curtains you can draw around in the cooler months when you settle down with a glass of wine and talk long into the night.
Up the cottage's old, steep and narrow stairs are the two pretty bedrooms and family bathroom. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, it's cool and calming with far reaching views over the countryside. The twin bedroom is very cosy and perfect for children or adults alike. The bedrooms share the family bathroom which is perfect for washing those sandy toes at the end of the day.
Outside at Riversleigh Cottage is just wonderful, the sheltered garden has a fabulous wood-burning stove, sit outside under the stars with just the glow from the wood-burner and the hooting owls. The raised unfenced pond is surrounded by pretty plants and tucked away in the corner is the gazebo which is a lovely spot to sit back and relax on holiday. There is also a games-room with table-football, the perfect entertainment for both adults and children alike.
Riversleigh Cottage is set in the ideal location to explore Cornwall, within easy reach of the north, south and far west coasts of Cornwall. Why not pop to St Ives for the day, explore Lands' End or enjoy a delicious meal out in Porthleven with an easy drive back to your holiday pad. A short walk from the property is the village of Porkellis with a local pub called The Star Inn which is worth a visit too, or perhaps simply enjoy relaxing in your own little haven at Riversleigh Cottage.
