A cute romantic bolthole for two, The Cart House is perfectly positioned in Veryan, described as the loveliest inland village in Cornwall. As soon as you arrive in the area and drive through the five unique thatched Round Houses which mark the entrance to the village, you will realise you are somewhere special.
There is a wonderful garden where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Access to The Cart House is across the owners' rear patio but it faces away so you are assured a quiet and relaxing holiday. This semi-detached property is conveniently all on one level and the double height ceiling with exposed beams makes the open plan living space feel light and airy.
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need on your holiday including the all important dishwasher, and the dining-table and chairs are ideal for indoor dining during cooler months. The comfy sofa is the perfect place to relax after a day out and about exploring, that is of course if you can tear yourself away from the fabulous garden with its separate sitting areas, you can choose either sun or shade and it has the most amazing brick-built barbecue.
At the rear of the property the bedroom is a peaceful and relaxing room with a comfy king-size double bed and gorgeous furnishings. The en suite wet-room fills with light from the Velux window and has a lovely shower, perfect after a day at the beach.
Whatever time of year you plan your Cornish escape, The Cart House is the perfect bijou pied-a-terre for a week-long stay or short getaway.

A little further away the Eden Project invites you to explore the mighty biomes or perhaps you'd rather take a stroll around the Lost Gardens of Heligan, only discovered 30 years ago after being lost to ruins after WWI and now lovingly restored to its former glory.
