South Devon is renowned for the outdoor life! Jump in the car and within 20 minutes you can be on one of the many golden sandy beaches that this coast has been blessed with. There are a few local well-known ones that are also dog-friendly and offer a quieter day - be sure to check your welcome folder for more information.

If the beach is not on the agenda, then the scenery and beauty of the coast can also be enjoyed walking the coast paths, a favourite being the circular walk out of Newton Ferrers, and be sure to visit one of the well-known local pubs for a refreshing Devon cider or fish and chip supper.

If you come to this truly spectacular part of the world a simple must has to be a day enjoying Dartmoor National Park.
