If you are looking for a truly special place to enjoy a holiday with all the family then look no further than Holywell House. Constructed in 2017, this fabulous house offers all the comfort and mod-cons you could wish for on holiday.

On the first floor, there is a fantastic open-plan kitchen and living space with bi-fold doors leading out to the beautifully manicured garden. Chefs of the family will be delighted with the kitchen that is equipped with not one but two ovens as well as a wine fridge for those must-have holiday beverage treats! The large sumptuous sofas are perfect for relaxing and the dining-table ensures plenty of space for meals together.

On balmy summer days fire up the barbecue and cook up a feast. The patio area also has glorious views over open countryside so this is the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation. The luxurious main bedroom is also on the first floor, complete with both an en suite and private terrace which makes an ideal spot for hiding away with a morning coffee. Downstairs there are a further three bedrooms, all with TVs - what a treat! As well as one of the downstairs bedrooms having an en suite, there is a modern family bathroom so you can be sure of no queues in the morning.

It is fair to say that just about everything has been thoughtfully designed and curated in this house and we are sure you will make fond holiday memories.

Next door, but far enough away not to disturb you, is the friendly local pub that is owned by the owners of Holywell House and you are sure to be greeted with a warm welcome. The village of Holywell Lake is nestled in fabulous Somerset countryside, close to the border with Devon and is perfectly positioned to explore these beautiful counties. The nearby Quantock and Blackdown Hills are both designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are a paradise for walkers and cyclists.

The nearest place to pop for amenities is the historic town of Wellington which is only a ten minute drive away and Taunton, the county town of Somerset, is only twenty minutes away. Close to Taunton, in the village of Bishops Lydeard, you will find the southern terminus of the West Somerset Railway; the start of twenty miles of heritage railway through beautiful Somerset countryside and coast. The rugged beauty of Exmoor is a short drive away and you may see some ponies who call this spectacular moorland home.

If you are looking for a day trip to the seaside then there are a number of coastlines to choose from - the west and north Somerset coasts are easily accessible, as are the Jurassic east Devon and west Dorset coasts - fish and chips are a must on holiday! For history lovers, there are a number of National Trust properties within a short drive, including the ancient Dunster Castle.

Whatever may be on your holiday 'to-do' list, Holywell House is an excellent choice and given how beautiful the house is, we wonder if you may just decide to stay put and enjoy it!
