Gunbanks Farm is a peaceful retreat nestled in the High Weald National Landscape (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), a short drive to the Sussex Coast, the beautiful South Downs, Glyndebourne Opera House and many local attractions and pretty villages.

As you enter through the wooden door of this beautiful Sussex barn, stairs lead up to the first floor, a spacious apartment which has been stylishly designed, making it perfect for couples, families and friends.

There are two good-sized bedrooms, a spacious shower-room and an open plan living area which is flooded with light and enjoys amazing views of the garden and surrounding woodland.

The kitchen has everything you need to create a delicious meal whilst enjoying the social aspect this open plan living area has to offer.

Snuggle up on the sofa in front of the wood-burner effect electric stove whilst watching your favourite film on Netflix, or gaze out of the large windows and spot the local wildlife - deer, hawks and rabbits amongst others.

Outside is a patio and private garden area, the perfect place to relax with your favourite tipple after a busy day exploring. Sit around the fire-pit listening to birdsong and reconnect with nature. Some of the owner's striking metalwork can be seen around the garden including the bespoke fire-pits.

The friendly owners live in the neighbouring property, and you may sometimes meet their lovely fox red labradors.

This area of Sussex is a haven for walkers. There are many footpaths to explore including the Vanguard Way. You are also within reach of The Wealdway and a short drive from the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest.

The nearest towns are Uckfield and Heathfield which have several supermarkets and independent shops. A little further afield visit the county town of Lewes, well known for its castle, antiques shops, and historic lido (which is open for part of the year). For more shops, bars and restaurants you are within easy reach of the spa town of Tunbridge Wells and Brighton with its numerous attractions.

Gunbanks Farm is perfectly situated for long country walks, exploring market towns and quaint villages, and visits to the sea as well as the famous opera house at Glyndebourne. There are many pubs and restaurants nearby and National Trust gardens and homes to visit.
