The ultimate seaside escape with uninterrupted and unrivalled sea views.

Small but perfectly formed, this former net loft has been lovingly converted into a romantic retreat for two. Aptly name Triton, god of the sea, you will feel like king of the ocean looking out over the sea from this elevated position.

Triton is found through a cobbled courtyard and up the granite steps to the front door, once inside the stunning outlook is revealed with nothing but the sea in front of you. The open plan living space really makes the most of the view, with double doors opening onto Juliet balconies, drop those bags and breathe in the sea air. The galley kitchen has everything you might need, however Porthleven is a foodie's ideal destination so why not treat yourself, you are on holiday after all.

Once you have eaten yourself silly, sink into the sofa and watch the ever-changing light on the sea, there is a small TV (only suitable for streaming) but with a view like that it might not be needed. There is a cosy electric wood-burner effect stove for the cooler months which adds that true 'hygge' feeling to the property.

The open narrow stairs lead down to the tranquil bedroom which also boasts the amazing views with a compact en suite shower. The bedroom has lovely plantation shutters so you can let the light in but ensure you have privacy.

Take a bottle of champagne and sit on the sea wall taking in the sea air and far-reaching views, it really is dreamy. The beach is a stone's throw from your front door, climb down the steps (there are quite a few) to the beach and reach the sandy shores of Porthleven - you will not miss having outside space as there is so much on offer from your front door. Triton really is the absolutely perfect destination, so much so it has been featured on Escape to the Country.

The South West Coast Path runs along Mounts Road which makes this a great place to explore parts of Cornwall on foot. There are so many hidden coves to discover along the footpath that you will have all to yourself. St Michael's Mount is an iconic feature on the skyline and fun to visit, and Porthleven is well located to explore the south west of Cornwall with Land's End, the Lizard and St Ives all within reach.

Whilst there is no parking at Triton there are two long stay car parks only a few minutes away or on street parking near by. Porthleven is an old fishing village and there are some narrow roads, with some only suitable for cars no wider than 6'6''.
