A fabulously elegant mansion set in an idyllic spot really is the ultimate destination. This stunning property is the perfect place for a family gathering or group of friends, tucked down an unmade lane and surrounded by fields and woodland with only the wildlife to keep you company.
This magnificent property is available for long weekends, mid week stays and week long holidays.
Open the front door into the stylish entrance hall which really has the 'wow' factor; sweeping stairs lead up to the bedrooms while the ground floor spreads out in front of you, providing plenty of space for everyone.
The large open plan kitchen/dining-room is a really fantastic space, no detail has been missed. The high-end appliances make cooking a joy, the large island is the ideal spot for a glass of wine and a chat, and the handy boiling water tap means you don't need to wait for your essential morning cup of tea. Open up the bi-fold doors, which overlook the garden, and bring the outside in.
The luxurious sitting-room has soft carpets and calming tones, a tranquil spot for the adults to relax while the children can play in the snug. The large windows on the ground floor look out onto the private and secluded garden; there are no curtains which allows the light to flood in and perhaps views of the moonlight through the trees.
The principal bedroom on the first floor will be the envy of all the guests; stretching across the width of the house with a super-king bed, dressing-room and huge en suite bathroom with views over the garden, trees and valley beyond. Of course, the rest of the bedrooms are rather lovely too.
Two more bedrooms are on the first floor, both with king-size beds and one also with a dressing-room and en suite shower-room while the other bedroom shares the family bathroom. The top floor has two further bedrooms, a twin room and a family room with a double and a single bed, making this the ideal den for children or friends. These bedrooms share the family bathroom on the first floor.
There is no shortage of space at Willow House which is over 5,000 square foot.
The outside space at Willow House is magnificent, the gravelled patio has a table and chairs for al fresco dining on a balmy summer's eve and perhaps toast some marshmallows around the fire-pit. The lawn is great for a game of football or perhaps croquet if you have a set or even just for a spot of sunbathing. There is also a handy hot outside shower and outside tap too which is perfect for washing your sandy toes and salty wetsuits.
Willow House is set in a great location, it is only a short drive from Falmouth and the main road making the rest of Cornwall easy to explore. If you want to stay a little closer to home, a footpath is found at the end of the drive which leads through the pretty Enys Estate, or perhaps walk to historic Pandora Inn and enjoy a pint on the pontoon. There is space on the drive for a boat and access to a slipway only a few miles away where you have access to some of the best sailing waters in the world.
