As you walk into The Piggery you will be delighted by not only the light that floods the studio but also the quality of the interior, with custom-made textiles, vintage Ercol chairs and the sumptuous bespoke king-size bed. You will always be warm and snug thanks to the under-floor heating, ensuring you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Piggery.
The studio maximises the feeling of space with the shower-room separated from the open plan space giving you extra privacy. Tucked into the corner the cleverly designed kitchenette offers a breakfast-bar, fridge/freezer, two electric cooking rings, combination microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The picture window offers the perfect view, which can be enjoyed from the vintage chairs that are just the spot to settle down to watch a film after a day of exploring this truly unspoilt part of north Devon!
One of the main features has to be the secluded garden that has been planted to present an ever-changing picture across the seasons, and can be enjoyed as you relax into stylish garden chairs whilst the fire-pit keeps you nice and toasty as the sun sets. The Piggery also has a lockable bike storage shed and there's an electric car charging point as well. With miles and miles to explore, north Devon will always deliver on adventure no matter the mode of transport. In a nutshell, The Piggery is the perfect stopover during your touring holiday or simply as an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!
The thriving market town of South Molton is a short drive from The Piggery and offers an excellent range of shopping with many independent boutiques and not forgetting the hugely successful weekly pannier market which is a must.
If you would prefer to be a bit more active, then north Devon will not disappoint. For cyclists there is the Tarka Trail and walkers have the delights of Dartmoor and Exmoor, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty..
The north Devon coast is only a short drive away, allowing you to enjoy the long sandy beaches for a fun day at the seaside or autumnal bracing walks along the miles of coast path. Whatever the season the beach always offers a place to recharge and enjoy your holiday.
