Only a few minutes walk from Boscastle's harbour and village centre, this super stylish apartment will leave you feeling rested, relaxed and totally re-energised. Built in the 1800s, the wealthy merchants who once made Providence House their home would be most impressed with its transformation by its current custodians into three gorgeous apartments. Taking up the whole of the first floor, Draper is decorated and furnished with the utmost care, with quality evident throughout.
Wonderfully light and airy thanks to its beautiful sash windows, the open plan living space has a modern kitchen, gorgeous Neptune table, set beneath a striking nautical style light, befitting of its location and cosy seating set around the ornamental fireplace. The two bedrooms have super-comfortable beds ensuring you a good night's sleep, and lovely en suite shower-rooms ready to set you up for the day. With your own private terrace area for sunshine breakfasts or sunset suppers, Draper is as perfect for couples as for friends and family stays.
With its tiny harbour, rows of pretty cottages and dramatic coastline Boscastle makes for a great escape whatever the time of year. Head down the hill to browse the shops and galleries perhaps picking up a piece of Boscastle pottery as a souvenir to take back home with you. Treat yourself to a luscious ice cream from the little parlour or perhaps takeaway fish and chips and with such a great choice of places to eat out, including the Napoleon Pub which is literally just down the road from Draper, you really won't need to worry about having to cook.
To help you work up an appetite, this area is blessed with great walks, whether along the coastal path, across open countryside or through wooded river valleys. Take a trip to Tintagel to visit The Old Post Office (National Trust) or the legendary home of King Arthur, Tintagel Castle (English Heritage) and on the way back call by Tintagel brewery to try some local ale. Surf's up at Trebarwith Strand and beachside picnics and rock pooling are the order of the day at Crackington Haven.
