TwinThis oh so stylish apartment is the perfect excuse to treat your loved ones to a fabulous break in north Cornwall. Located in the charming village of Boscastle, spend your days enjoying bracing coastal walks, lazy lunches in harbourside eateries and sunny days on the beach.
Set over the ground floor of Providence House, Wivell guests have the luxury of entering through the impressive front door, entered in years past by the Wivell family who were lucky enough to call this place their home. Oozing romance, charm and the utmost attention to detail, the owners have skilfully combined original features with up-to-date modern styling to ensure you enjoy that little bit of luxury.
The stylish kitchen is chock full of everything you need to create scrummy holiday breakfasts and late night dinners, served up on the dining-table dramatically lit by the gorgeous 'Neptune' light, after which the living area beckons you to chill out and quite simply relax.
The romance continues in the main bedroom with its gorgeous bedstead and patio doors that lead you to your own lower terrace, a beautiful area with bistro table, wooden benches, potted shrubs and statues that perfectly complement the period and style of the building, whilst steps lead you to another private terrace with views that stretch out to sea. The second bedroom is bijou and can be set up as a single for more space or if there are four in your party, twin beds are the order of the day.
But let us tell you about the bathroom, it is utterly gorgeous! With its large walk-in shower, twin sinks and not forgetting the free-standing copper bath it is the ultimate in luxury and the perfect tonic for anyone looking for a real treat.
Set in the higher part of Boscastle, take the walk down the hill to the shops, galleries, eateries and not to mention the sweet little harbour in the heart of the village or for a longer walk head out the other side to the village farm shop and cafe - which comes highly recommended. This area is awash with great walks to keep your four-legged friends happy so grab their lead and head off along the coastal footpath, through wooded river valleys or across open countryside.
The historic village of Tintagel serves up a hearty helping of Arthurian legend and Port Isaac is home to The Fisherman's Friends, Nathan Outlaw and TV's Doc Martin. For the green fingered amongst you the gardens and estates at Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are a must and foodies will relish a trip on the foot ferry from Rock to Padstow where there are culinary delights to delights around every corner.
For larger groups you can also stay in Draper (4638) and Merchant (4639).
