"To breathe" is the perfect name for this idyllic retreat, inhale the pure air and feel instantly relaxed. Anella is a charming property found in a tranquil and unspoilt setting; ideal for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Anella means "to breathe" in Cornish - this exquisite property has been beautifully converted whilst retaining its character and original features. This countryside escape has a gorgeous hot tub where you can relax with a glass of fizz while listening to the babbling stream and pretty bird song, or after a bracing walk along the cliffs retire to Anella and toast your toes in front of the wood-burner.
The open plan living space is lovely and light, and provides plenty of space for two and your four-legged friends to stretch out. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare a tasty meal, but as you are on holiday and deserve some time off from cooking there are plenty of lovely places to eat within a short distance. The delicious cafe Slice of Cornwall will be opening on the 21st April, their breakfasts and cakes are a must and it is only a five minute walk from your front door. The cosy double bed is tucked away up the ladder (please take care and mind your head) for a scrumptious night's sleep in the rafters, Anella is just dreamy.
Surrounded by the owners' six aces of fields and woodland, you might spot foxes, badgers, deer and other wonderful wildlife that also like to call this home. The lovely owners live on site, but privacy is ensured for all parties. The large field next to the property is perfect for your dog to have a run around at the end of the day, sniffing out all the exciting smells.
There are plenty of footpaths to explore right from your front door in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearby creeks of the peaceful Helford river are wonderful for paddle boarding, and the owner would be happy to offer any tips of where to explore in Cornwall.
Anella is in a great location to explore this undiscovered part of Cornwall; the Lizard peninsula is only a short drive away, where you will find hidden coves and dramatic coastlines such as Frenchman's Creek and Cadgwith Cove. Falmouth is a fabulous town to visit with a plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops to enjoy, and plenty of water sports on offer to go dolphin spotting which is magical.
Staying in this fabulous spot offers so much, and you will leave this property with your batteries recharged.
