Nestled in a gorgeous countryside setting on the Cornwall and Devon border with views across to Dartmoor and beyond, Owl Barn at Netherbridge Lake is a perfect location for a family holiday or a mini break for a couple to recharge. Owl Barn has been sympathetically converted into a beautifully presented holiday home, retaining its original charm with gorgeous features such as exposed stonework and rustic beams. Owl Barn, Otter Barn (4582), Badger Barn (4583), Kingfisher Barn (4584), Swift Barn (4585) and Swallow Barn (4586) offer a wonderful location, ideally placed for enjoying the delights of both Cornwall and Devon and a comfortable and peaceful spot to unwind at the end of the day surrounded by peace and tranquility.

The open plan living and dining area has a well-equipped kitchen and offers a wonderful space to spend quality time together. With two comfortable double sofas perfect for snuggling up on, the downstairs area offers an inviting room which flows out to the garden and private seating area.

Upstairs, you will certainly enjoy a great night's sleep in the two comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom has a cosy double bed and its very own en suite with gorgeous views of the countryside thanks to the double height picture window. There is a second bedroom, a comfortable twin bedroom, with pretty countryside views, and a separate bathroom with a lovely bath for enjoying a leisurely soak at the end of the day.

Outside, you will find outdoor seating perfect for al fresco dining, enjoying gorgeous sunsets or simply admiring the views. The outdoor setting is magical and if you're looking for tranquility, this is certainly the place to find it. There is plenty to keep all ages entertained with table-football and darts in the games-room. With two beautiful private lakes full of carp, and free access to the river Tamar if you fancy a spot of fishing. Both the young and old alike will enjoy seeing the sheep and ducks living on site and there are picnic tables surrounding the lakes if you fancy a peaceful and scenic lunch. You can also rent barbecues from the friendly owners free of charge, should you wish.

If you are looking to holiday as a larger group, you can book Otter Barn, Badgers Barn, Kingfisher Barn, Swallow and Swift Barn alongside Owl Barn.

Guests are free to wander the seven acres of shared grounds surrounding the barns to take in the fresh county air and maybe spot local wildlife or your woolly neighbouring sheep who may be grazing quietly in the lakeside paddock. Guests can fish for carp in one of the well-stocked lakes or for those interested in more tranquil pursuits find yourself a place to sit by the side and just relax in this peaceful setting.

Make sure you bring your walking boots and wellies as there is lots of countryside to be explored, including the delights of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor for wide open spaces, beautiful scenery and plenty of fresh air. Do not forget to pay a visit to the gorgeous north Cornwall coast and its many beaches, including Bude, Widemouth and Polzeath. There's also plenty of charming towns and villages to explore, including the pretty fishing village of Boscastle and the fascinating Tintagel, a great place to discover myths and legends. The historic local town of Launceston is also very close by should you wish to browse the shops, pick up a treat in a cafe or pay a visit to the Norman castle.
