Picture-perfect and petite, this delightful bijou bolthole for two is the perfect luxury hideaway for lovebirds looking for romance. Set in a dreamy location down a quiet lane, this tucked-away barn conversion oozes luxury country living with both the south and north coast just a few minutes' drive away.
The Creamery is a welcoming and cosy retreat for a couple and a dog to explore the endless walking options, with the bonus of your very own private parking space and south-facing terrace. A little path leads you straight down to the stable-door. Step through to the open plan living area, where the impressive beams instantly create a feeling of space.
A little step (just the one) takes you down to the galley kitchen which cleverly utilises the space, providing an oven, hob and all the cooking essentials you need, especially if you decide to buy your fish off the boat from nearby Falmouth. The super-indulgent bathroom has a sumptuous double size shower cubicle with drench head shower, twin sinks and a large free-standing bath for soaking in after a day of gallivanting around Cornwall.
Couples will love to escape here and make the most of some great restaurants and walks in this part of Cornwall, whilst two friends holidaying together can also be accommodated comfortably as the super-king bed can be unzipped to form two singles on request.
To entice you outside, there is a cute courtyard garden just for you. Hide away from the rest of the world sheltered by an old Cornish hedge and enjoy this peaceful spot - perfect for lazy morning breakfasts, leisurely lunches, or evening glasses of fizz.
The friendly owner lives on site, but will leave you in peace to enjoy the tranquil surroundings in this stunning corner of the county.
The Creamery is set in a wonderful location, with the dramatic north coast one side and the calmer south coast the other, as well as lots in between. Spend leisurely days exploring all Cornwall has to offer, from beaches to coastal walks, and many fantastic restaurants. Discover the beautiful gardens at Trelissick, try your hand at the many water sports on offer, or venture into Falmouth to eat at one of the restaurants.
If beach days are on the agenda, then St Agnes with its gorgeous sandy cove is a 20 minute drive away. This laid-back village is rapidly becoming one of Cornwall's most sought-after destinations. Crammed full of boutique little shops and cafes, with local shops from a butcher to a deli, you can park the car and just relax with everything close by.
If you don't fancy cooking, (and why not - you are on holiday after all!) then the local village gastro pub is a five minute drive away. The Punchbowl and Ladle is a traditional Cornish pub rich in history dating back to the 15th Century and has played a key part in the stories of travellers, mariners, and locals - both old and new. Serving the most delicious local food and lots of different local ales to try, you may wish to visit more than the once.
Your four-legged friend is made to feel as welcome as you are and with walks galore on the doorstep, don't forget to pack those walking boots!
