Located close to the wonderfully rugged Atlantic coastline famous for its pretty coastal villages, stunning beaches and Atlantic rollers, this heart-warming retreat is ideal for those seeking a Cornish getaway with family and friends and the family pooch. Wonderfully light and spacious you will be set to holiday mode from the minute you arrive.
Start the day with relaxed family gatherings in the kitchen/breakfast room and should you wish to take things a little more formally the sunny dining-room overlooks the garden - ideal if the adults want to continue their chatter around the table whilst keeping an eye on younger members enjoying some fun and games outside. Doors lead from the dining-room and the comfy sitting-room to the enclosed garden and terrace area which basks in the sunshine for most of the day, so on balmy evenings fire up the barbecue and enjoy dining in the great outdoors; should the weather be less kind the junior size snooker table along with a TV and lounging area in the integral garage will keep everyone entertained.
The first bedroom with its ornate bed and en suite shower-room is located on the ground floor, ideal for those who are less mobile or would prefer a little more privacy, and the three further bedrooms are on the first floor along with the supersized family bathroom.
Situated on the edge of the village of Delabole, famous for its quality slate, the village has a traditional village pub and convenience store ideal when you fancy stocking up on those essential items.
Forget your troubles and start to plan those days out to all that this fabulous part of the coastline has to offer. From beach days at nearby Trebarwith and Polzeath, exploring the pretty coastal villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle, or indulging in culinary delights at Padstow.
For those who enjoy walking, the nearby coastal footpath winds along stunning headlands and through breathtaking coves which are carpeted with bluebells and primroses in the spring and for more floral delights the gardens and historic houses of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are all within easy reach.
There are historic delights to discover at Tintagel, steeped in Arthurian legend, and for some fun on two wheels head to the vibrant town of Wadebridge to hire some cycles and wind your away along the renowned Camel Trail heading to Bodmin Moor in one direction and Padstow in the other. With so much on offer this really is a great location for your holiday on Cornwall.
