In an elevated position perched on the clifftop overlooking the dramatic north coast, The Beach House is a stunning holiday home and one of the largest abodes on Coast Road in Porthtowan. Ideal for families or groups of friends, this dreamy retreat and its luscious surroundings has something for everyone, whether you are big on adventures or just enjoy the calmer quieter pace of life.

Spread over two floors, The Beach House oozes style and elegance and awe-inspiring sea views from almost every aspect. The open plan living area provides ample space for total relaxation, with floor to ceiling windows throughout, designed to make the most of that incredible view. Throw open the sliding doors at the front of the house and showcase the wonderful coastal vista.

The super light and airy open plan kitchen and dining area is like no other. With a sleek central breakfast-bar and large dining space that can easily accommodate up to 10 guests, sit down for a long lazy lunch whilst the room is bathed in the Cornish sun and look out through the huge glass windows, which frame the ever-changing seascape.

The outdoor space at The Beach House is truly captivating. With incredible views, a sweeping patio, and an extensive garden complete with fire-pit, you truly are spoilt for choice. The Mediterranean inspired courtyard, complete with bubbling hot tub, outside shower and barbecue is an oasis during the long balmy summer days. While away peaceful afternoons catching up with old friends and spending time with your cherished loved ones. Come nightfall after an evening spent toasting marshmallows around the fire-pit or star gazing from the hot tub, snuggle down under squidgy duvets and fluffy pillows in one of five boutique bedrooms to choose from.

On the first floor three beautifully furnished bedrooms await you. Framed by glass doors, savour the panorama across Porthtowan from the main king-size bedroom. Finished with a balcony and en suite shower-room, you'll never want to leave. Next door (across a little stepped landing and over one of two staircases), a twin bedroom looks out across the bay and leads into an en suite shower-room which is shared with bedroom number three. A second staircase (a gorgeous bespoke hand-crafted spiral) takes you down to the ground floor. Tucked away on the ground floor, a stylish 'zip and link' bedroom can be found next to the large contemporary family bathroom. Further along the corridor you will find the en suite king-size bedroom, with patio doors which lead out onto the terraced patio garden and hot tub. On this floor you will also find the utility-room and downstairs WC which are perfectly placed for washing away sandy toes and hanging up those wet coats after coming off the coast path and into the warm.

The golden sand beach and blue surfing seas of Porthtowan are closer than you first think, there is a local's secret short cut through valley pass and you'll be there before you know it. After a day on this gorgeous beach, why not head to the beachside Blue Bar, a great spot to enjoy an indulgent hot chocolate or chilled glass of wine. There is also a wonderful beach cafe selling delicious home-cooked food, a great little surf shop that can kit you out with boards, wetsuits and lessons, and miles of sandy beach to walk along at low tide - perfect if you're bringing your four-legged friend.

A short drive away, along the coastal road, is St Agnes; a vibrant and very colourful coastal village with a fantastic butcher, local craft shops brimming with temptation and lots of yummy eating places. There are plenty more great beaches within seven miles, most patrolled by lifeguards throughout the holiday season and many with cafes and bars right on the beach.

After a fun filled day soaking up the Cornish sun and building sandcastles on the beach there is nothing nicer than enjoying locally-caught fish and chips on the beach wall whilst watching the sun set, before returning home to The Beach House. With the ultimate panoramic views of Porthtowan, this is the perfect sand-between toes getaways.
