Perfect for a family getaway, couples break or romantic escape, this captivating cabin is tucked away in the most tranquil setting with gorgeous rural views across to Dartmoor in the distance.

With oodles of rustic charm, Stibb Hollow Cabin is just delightful and has all you could need for a comfortable stay. The open plan living-room includes a kitchen (complete with an electric hob, Dualit mini oven, Crock Pot slow cooker, microwave and fridge), snug sitting-area and dining-area, and there's a warming wood-burner too, ensuring cosiness all year-round. The two inviting bedrooms - one with a sumptuous king-size bed and the other with both a double bed and bunk-beds - are at the back of the cabin, along with the shower-room.

Outside, the covered deck provides a place to dine al fresco and take in some good ol' fresh air whatever the weather, enjoying the fabulous, relaxing views over open countryside. There's a fire-pit barbecue for cooking up a scrummy lunch or toasting marshmallows under the stars and a lovely tree swing. You can even practice your golf skills in the one hole golf green in the paddock at the side of the cabin - the very friendly sheep often go into this section too and the children are welcome to feed them under supervision. You may also see the owner's free range chickens around too and spot the cows in the neighbouring fields.

If you can bear to tear yourselves away, north Devon offers plenty of things to see and do. You can join the renowned Tarka Trail (a safe, traffic-fee and relatively flat disused railway line that runs alongside the River Torridge) at nearby Great Torrington - if you fancy cycling, bikes can be hired at Torrington Cycle Hire. The beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor are just a five-minute drive away and the golf courses at Torrington and Holsworthy are within easy reach too.

The wonderful market towns of Great Torrington and Holsworthy are well worth a visit, as is north Devon's largest town of Barnstaple. Of course, heading to the coast is a must and you will be spoilt for choice with lots of fantastic beaches to visit - Croyde, Clovelly, Sandy Mouth, Westward Ho!, Widemouth Bay and Crooklets to name a few - whether you want to try your hand a surfing or paddle boarding, have a bucket and spade day or join the South West Coast Path, there is something for everyone.
