A gorgeous, chocolate-box cottage that is the ideal escape, nestled in the heart of one of Dorset's picturesque villages. Just a stone's throw from the lovely local pub, Wayside Cottage is picture perfect and has a fabulous sized garden, complete with pretty stream (please take care with children and dogs). This Grade II Listed, semi-detached cottage is the epitome of a cosy country hideaway and you will be enchanted by its endless charm and character.

Open the front door and you will walk into the beautiful sitting-room, complete with traditional Inglenook fireplace; the perfect place to relax after a long walk. The kitchen is modern yet retains a lovely country feel and has peaceful views down the garden. Also on the ground floor, is a swish shower-room with a luxurious drench head fitting.

Two bedrooms occupy the first floor with the master bedroom having dual-aspect windows, making a bright and relaxing space; we think this room definitely calls for breakfast in bed! If you can tear yourself out of this stunning cottage, then be sure to explore in the garden and take some time to sit in the summer-house overlooking the stream. Your four-legged friend will be very happy and will be sure to curl up by your feet as you bask in the sunshine.

Wayside Cottage is perfectly located to explore Dorset and boasts being within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The pretty market town of Beaminster is just a short drive away and is home to several independent shops and great eateries. Be sure to head to the Jacobean manor of Mapperton House and Gardens or if you fancy a glass of something bubbly and fruity, then a trip to Furleigh Wine Estate should definitely be part of your plans. Wherever you are in Dorset, the stunning Jurassic Coast is never too far away and you only have to travel six miles from Wayside Cottage to be met by the bracing waves.
