Bedroom 1
DoublePicture-perfect and petite, this delightfully bijou bolthole for two is set in the picturesque hamlet of Bolingey. All on one level, this small but perfectly formed studio apartment has been comfortably furnished, offering all that you would expect from hotel accommodation with the added convenience of a dining-area and kitchenette for those who want to cook up a breakfast or a light supper.
Little Homestead is a welcoming and cosy retreat for a couple and a dog to explore the endless walking options with the added bonus of your very own private parking space. A pretty little enclosed courtyard leads through to the open plan living area, which cleverly utilises a single ring hob and microwave to make the most of the space – if you fancy a more elaborate meal, (and you are on holiday after all) then the local village pub is a five minute walk away. The Bolingey Inn is a delightful 17th Century pub and just oozes old world charm inside and out, the menu is full of local dishes and with four real ales to try, what more could you wish for.
Your four-legged friend is made to feel as welcome as you are at Little Homestead and with walks galore on the doorstep, don't forget to pack those walking boots! They will also get a welcome doggie bag too (but don't tell them or you'll spoil the surprise!).
Little Homestead will appeal to guests who seek the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall, with the added reassurance of a friendly owner who lives next door, should you have any questions during your stay, but assurance of privacy if you just want to relax.
If beach days are on the agenda then Perranporth with its gorgeous sandy beach and bucket and spade shops is a five minute drive away (or twenty minute stroll). Jump in your car and head to the village of St Agnes, just over four miles away, which is rapidly becoming one of Cornwall's most sought-after destinations. Crammed full of boutique little shops, restaurants and laid-back cafes, with local shops from a butcher to a deli, you can park the car and just relax with everything close by.
If you are a garden enthusiast, then the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must! The north coast has endless beaches, coves and walks to discover. Why not take a trip up towards Mawgan Porth stopping at Watergate Bay for a beach walk (which is sure to blow away the cobwebs).
Further along the rugged north coast is the traditional Cornish fishing village of Padstow with its picturesque harbour and exquisite Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, which is well worth booking in advance as it gets extremely popular, especially in the summer months.
