Located just two miles from the pretty seaside village of Dale, children will love crabbing off the harbour wall, enjoy fish and chips and an ice cream in the cafe, or dinner in Coco's Brasserie or in the award-winning Griffin Inn. Dale is popular for sailing and surfing, where tuition is available on allegedly the sunniest beach in Wales. The rolling surf at West Dale is great for surfing too. This is a fantastic property, ideal for families and small groups looking for that unique experience with spectacular views.

The world famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily accessed from The Lighthouse. Within three miles are the glorious, award-winning golden sands of Marloes Beach, where lunch in Runwayskiln is a treat. More beautiful beaches, Little Haven and Broad Haven are just a 15 minute drive away with a choice of good pubs: The Swan Inn, The Castle, The St Brides and the Ocean Bar. Broad Haven has a well-stocked shop with a bakery and Post Office. A boat trip is a must to spot the dolphins and sea life, and from April to August you can visit the puffins on Skomer Island. Explore the coast towards St Davids, visit the magnificent cathedral and the dramatic coastline of north Pembrokeshire. Bustling Tenby and more glorious beaches are within an hour's drive.

The spacious living accommodation is at the heart of The Lighthouse, sitting on the ground floor and perfect for family and friends reuniting. There's a stylish open plan design, incorporating the kitchen, sitting-area and dining-area, and access to an enclosed patio area with spectacular views. This is the perfect spot for al fresco dining on sunny days or under the clear starry skies.

The five ground floor bedrooms are comfortable but simple in style, there are three double rooms, one with an en suite bathroom, and two twin rooms - one with an en suite shower-room. The sleek family bathroom, however, is a real treat with a Jacuzzi bath and his and hers sinks, as well as a separate double walk-in shower.

Children will love the 'snug' to play in when they're not splashing around in the swimming pool or playing table football in the games-room. Climb the steps up to The Observation Tower, previously the coastguard watchtower, which provides 180 degree views of the dramatic St Anne's headline and gaze out to the ever-changing sea, the perfect place to watch magnificent Pembrokeshire sunsets and during winter months the raging seas and whistling winds.

The Lighthouse is a very exciting holiday abode for children and they are most welcome. Please do not climb over the terrace wall due to the proximity of the cliff drop. Children to be supervised at all times in all exterior areas, in the observation tower and on the steep stairs, and when in the pool and sauna area which must be locked when not in use.
