Simply gorgeous, this beautifully appointed former chapel provides somewhere rather special to stay for two. Creekside Cottage is situated overlooking the Truro River at the entrance to Malpas village.

Imaginatively designed over three levels with open plan living and vaulted ceilings there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the fabulous views of the river. For eating out and shopping nearby Truro with its Georgian buildings and cobbled streets has an excellent choice of shops, cafes and restaurants. For those wishing to cook up a feast at home there is an excellent farmers market twice a week and Cornish food stores selling local produce.

There is much to explore from the cottage both by foot and on the water. Enjoy a scenic walk along the estuary to St Clements or up the river to Truro which is only two miles away. There are some lovely seats along the river where you can stop to admire the view so you won't even notice that the cottage has no outdoor space. The renowned Heron Inn is a five minute stroll away so another great to spot to sit and enjoy a drink overlooking the river.

From Easter to October catch the ferry from the local pontoon that runs between Truro and Falmouth and explore the stunning Fal estuary. Stop off at the National Trust gardens at Trelissick or head down to the yachting haven of Falmouth and experience the waterfront bars, restaurants and independent shops.
