Zip and linkHidden away in three acres of private garden and woodland you really can escape the rush of everyday life at Bluebell Barn. Relax amongst the sounds of the bird song and babbling stream and settle into the tranquil peace and quiet.
This fabulous barn offers wonderful living space with an airy and light sitting-room which opens straight onto the balcony, overlooking the garden where you can enjoy a G & T in the sunshine in this sheltered spot. The eat-in kitchen is perfectly equipped to enjoy cooking any meal.
The converted barn is built cleverly into the hillside, the entrance is on the first floor where you will find the living space and downstairs are the two bedrooms, which both have double doors that open to a private terrace - so you can enjoy your morning coffee in your dressing gown without being disturbed - and their own luxurious en suite bath/shower room.
The large garden is wonderful to explore, with a pretty stream running alongside and many hidden spots to enjoy throughout the day. The sofas in the pergola at the far end of the garden catch the evening sun and there are plenty of hidden spots which are perfect for a romantic picnic for two.
Bluebell Barn is set in the perfect location. The village of Porthallow, with the Three Pilchards beach bar, is just a short walk down the road, the beach is dog-friendly all year round and it's a great spot to launch your paddleboards or kayaks. The South West Coast Path runs along here too. Up the hill there is the fantastic cafe, Fat Apples, which is well worth a visit just for their cake.
The gentle banks of the Helford River are delightful to explore with hidden creeks, pretty beaches and delightful pubs. The rest of the Lizard peninsula has a dramatic coastline which is fun to explore all year round. Bluebell Barn offers wonderful accommodation, which can be enjoyed at any time of year.
