This spacious semi-detached farmhouse is filled with elegant and stylish furnishings to create a truly fabulous holiday. Located close to the banks of the Helford River and surrounded by stunning countryside, hidden creeks and next to a working cattle farm, this is really an idyllic rural setting.
There is plenty of room for everyone to relax, the large family kitchen has the all-important wine fridge so you can enjoy perching at the island while chatting over the prep of a delicious meal. The elegant dining-room provides a wonderful space to enjoy a much needed catch up and leads through to the sitting-room where you can sink into the sofas watching the flames of the wood-burner.
The four elegant bedrooms are found on the first floor, all decorated with individual style and flair, and a good night's rest will be had in the hand-made Cornish beds. The family bathroom is also on the first floor with a gorgeous bath to soak away aches and pains. The master bedroom has a lovely en suite shower-room and plenty of space to enjoy some peace and quiet.
The owner lives in the neighbouring main house and has two friendly spaniels that might pay you a visit with their tails wagging to say hello.
Walk in through the wide front door and you will find an abundance of room for your coats, boots and flip flops. There is also a handy utility-room with a WC and shower, which is perfect for a rinse after a day on the beach.
Outside you will find a sheltered courtyard which is the ideal spot for a morning cup of coffee and a pastry, whilst along the path you will find a large garden where plenty of fun and games can be had. There is a handy outbuilding which is great for storing your kayaks or body boards and for leaving wetsuits to dry, and even space for a boat trailer in the drive.
There is so much to discover from Tremayne Farm House, with the Helford River only a short walk from the property and with many pretty walks to be explored, including Tremayne Woods and Quay.
