Dust off those walking boots and explore the wild rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor or head to the coast and take to the coastal path that promises stunning vistas around every corner. If you prefer pedal power, the Camel Trail is only half a mile down the road, winding its way through woodlands and along the Camel estuary eventually bringing you to the popular resort of Padstow where you can refuel on some of Rick Stein's fish and chips before making the return journey. The historic houses and gardens of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are well worth a visit as are the pretty fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac, of Doc Martin and Fisherman's Friends fame, and if food is on the agenda this area is the jewel in Cornwall's foodie crown with more celebrity chefs and award-winning eateries than you can shake a stick at.
