Alternatively, enjoy a spot of dining al fresco in your privately enclosed garden with a stroll to the pub afterwards to top things off – your options are endless.
The friendly on-site owners have equipped and designed The Lodge to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, however if there is anything further they can help you with, please ask, as they are more than happy to help enhance your holiday experience where possible, from taking the little ones to feed the sheep and hens, to advising on the local hotspots and fine dining options.
Attraction and entertainment can be found in abundance in this wonderful part of the world. From castles and famous houses such as Berry Pomeroy Castle to Agatha Christie's Greenway home – both worth a visit, especially as they are within such a short car drive – to adventure parks and attractions such as Woodlands and River Dart Country park - perfect for the younger members of the party guaranteeing smiles all round.
Or perhaps mooching around one of the most interesting and eclectic towns south Devon has to offer sounds interesting, if so, the very intriguing town of Totnes is again right on your doorstep. Totnes offers a delightful range of eateries, pubs and shops making a day out in this lovely town very worthwhile.
