Beautiful interiors and super-comfy furnishings, all complemented by a fabulous wood-burner, make The Bothy an amazing place to return to after a full day of exploring the glorious sights of Dartmoor, or the delights of the neighbouring village of Widecombe in the Moor which is only a short car drive away.

Your location offers you everything you could wish for from a countryside escape. Surrounded by 14 acres of woodland for you to explore and there's a beautiful babbling brook which runs through the neighbouring paddock to the livestock and farm animals which also call this wonderful spot home, your holiday experiences will be full of some very special memories and scenery alike.

The owners of The Bothy live within the grounds and are more than happy to introduce children to the very friendly farm animals, which the little ones will love. Not forgetting your four-legged friends, the endless woodlands and nearby walks are a real treat and will make for some very sweet dreams. However, as a safety measure we do ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times around any grazing livestock, maintaining a safe and harmonious living environment for all.

Holidaying in this fabulous spot is not all about walking, trekking and exploring, relaxing and unwinding are paramount. You will certainly leave this fabulous property and location with your batteries recharged. Perhaps a spot of dining al fresco in the cobbled courtyard, soaking up the last rays of the day's sun, is more your thing? Or venture up into the sloping garden opposite The Bothy and enjoy a picnic whilst marvelling at the most incredible views.

Why not don your walking boots for the short stroll to the village pub which is ready and waiting with a warm Devon welcome - making taking the dog for that evening walk a real pleasure.
