TwinGather up family and friends and treat yourselves to a well-deserved stay at this very special family home! Set on its own in a picturesque wooded valley along the coastal road between historic Tintagel and the picturesque fishing village of Boscastle, Ferny Park is what holiday dreams are made of.
This is an impeccably styled home with five beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms, a gorgeous landscaped garden, a games-room to occupy those with a competitive edge, a bubbling hot tub to soak away the stresses and strains of everyday life and even a flat lawn area with full-size football posts to hone your target practice.
With fabulous walks along the stunning coastal footpath right on your doorstep, beach days by the bucketful and charming fishing villages waiting to be discovered you can turn that dream into a reality!
The large entrance hall and impressive staircase set the scene for what's to come. A country-style kitchen/breakfast-room sits at the back of the house and if you all want to eat together there's also a separate dining-room (please note guests have use of the electric hob and oven rather than the Aga). The open fire in the relaxing sitting-room invites you to curl up on chilly evenings, perhaps to watch a holiday film together, and French doors lead out to the sun-room and garden beyond. Four bedrooms, each with modern en suite shower rooms, are on the first floor along with the family bathroom in which stands the most sumptuous bath. A narrower steeper staircase leads up to the fifth bedroom which will be a sure hit with younger members of the party.
Outside is a gardener's delight with different areas to discover and mature plants to admire, and wonderful spots to sit with a good book, enjoy meals in the great outdoors or simply sit back and relax in the Cornish sunshine.
Set in the impressive Rocky Valley you can wander the footpath through the valley out to sea - here you can join the coastal path heading in one direction to Tintagel, a village steeped in Arthurian Legend, or the opposite to Boscastle with its tiny harbour and quaint little cottages. Pack up your buckets and spades, surfboards and wet suits, crab lines and fishing nets to have fun filled days on the beach; from Widemouth Bay to Daymer Bay this part of the coastline is littered with great beaches so you can try a different one every day!
