Nestled in the parish of St Agnes on the fringes of the hamlet of Perrancoombe close to the north Cornish coast, this beautiful bespoke cabin is the ideal 'getaway from it all' destination. Located on the edge of a woodland valley, in the grounds of the Owner's home, this picture-perfect detached property will delight either a small family or couple simply wanting that extra bit of space.
Walk through the front door and you immediately enter the hallway, which also has a boot-room, perfect for those muddy boots and muddy paws, as your four-legged friend is most welcome here too. Step into the open plan kitchen/dining-room, open up the patio doors and instantly unwind listening to the relaxing river which gently runs past. This fabulous space has everything you need to cook up a memorable meal during your stay.
Stairs take you up to the sitting-room, with two comfy sofas and furnished beautifully in delicious browns and soft greens to complement and blend in with the valley and trees. This is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day out and about exploring Cornwall. Leading off from this super cosy room, you'll find a little open plan office space with a desk and chair, your family bathroom and two bedrooms, all stylishly furnished in neutral colours.
Outside you have your own private deck with a table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers too. Overlooked only by the river and trees, it's very private and a super spot for whiling away the evenings, over a glass or two of wine.
Millstream Hideaway is situated on the fringes of the sleepy hamlet of Perrancoombe, however you have so much to see and do on your doorstep.
Perranporth with its gorgeous sandy beach and bucket and spade shops is a five minute drive away.
If you fancy a pub lunch (and you'd prefer to leave the car behind) then you have the Miners Arms, they serve the most delicious locally-sourced and home-cooked meals, and the Rose in Vale Hotel, both at Mithian; just a pleasant 20 minute walk away on leafy lanes with a footpath.
Jump in your car and head to the village of St Agnes, just over a mile and a half away, which is rapidly becoming one of Cornwall's most sought-after destinations. Crammed full of boutique little shops, restaurants and laid-back cafes, with local shops from a butcher to a deli, you can park the car and just relax with everything close by.
The St Agnes Heritage Coast is just over a mile away and you can join the footpath just opposite Millstream Hideaway.
