Mousehole / Sleeps 2 + cot

7 Nights from £429 - £986

Mousehole harbour is a stroll down the hill, there is a hot tub for your private use and a double kayak is provided for guests too. Beechwood has it all, whether you are looking for a sporty adventure holiday or a cosy relaxing 'get away from it all' break.

Set all on one level, the light and airy sitting-room houses a modern pebble-effect electric fire and a Smart TV. From this room there is a sliding door to the south-facing front decked terrace. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining-table in one corner and leads to the comfortable double bedroom with its king-size bed and en suite shower-room.

The hot tub and second terrace are behind Beechwood, making it extra private, and with fairy lights at night it's a great place to chill and watch the moon and stars.

The owners live and run a little jam-making enterprise within the grounds – you will have some lovely home-made jam under your cream on the Cornish cream tea provided for you on arrival.

When you wake up you can enjoy breakfast in the garden and look at the sea in the distance from the wonderful swinging chair placed at a great vantage point for guests to make the most of the views and discuss the day's plans. Perhaps a paddle in the kayak around the harbour, or to St Michael's Mount across the bay for the thrill seekers?

The setting for this lovely retreat is ideal; there's an excellent pub just up the hill and numerous restaurants and galleries down in the harbour - so whether you decide to travel around or leave the car, store your bikes and stay put, one thing is for sure, your batteries will be recharged following your Beechwood break.
