Little Four Fields

4150

5.5 miles NW of Falmouth / Sleeps 4 + cot

7 Nights from £423 - £920

If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is the perfect cottage for your holiday. This tranquil spot is on the edge of the village of Frogpool and has views over the owner's paddocks. Little Four Fields has been lovingly restored and is full of character and traditional features yet with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The perfect location for a wonderful holiday at any time of year, there are many beautiful walks you can explore straight from your front door and when you return there is an external hot shower just for the dog, we don't want them catching a chill.

You can pop your feet up in front of the wood-burner or sit on the private terrace listening to the evening birdsong with a glass of wine. The steep narrow stairs lead up to a wide and light landing where you will find the two pretty bedrooms which overlook the garden and fields.

The family shower-room is also on the first floor with a luxurious large shower. The lovely owner lives next door to this semi-detached cottage with her two friendly dogs, and her horses are in the field, and is happy to help with any recommendations of where to go in this pretty part of Cornwall.

There is so much to explore from this great location, with south, west and north Cornwall within easy reach. A short drive away is Loe Beach where you will find lots of watersports you can try your hand at and a lovely cafe with delicious cakes.

There is no shortage of good pubs in this part of Cornwall, The Cornish Arms in the village is not far away but don't forgot your torch for the walk home. The Old Quay Inn in Devoran and The Royal Oak in Perranwell are nearby, both with great food and booking is recommended. The coastal town of Falmouth is enjoyable to visit, still being a working port there are lots of interesting boats, boutique shops and many places to eat with all the Cornish delicacies. The unique open-air amphitheatre of Gwennap Pit is fun to have a wander around too, and is near the cottage.
