This is quite simply a beautifully renovated period cottage with a truly stunning panoramic view! High up on the crest of the hill on the outskirts of one of north Devon's prettiest villages, Berrynarbour, Easter Cottage has magnificent views from its garden, the kitchen, two of the bedrooms and even the bathroom, right along the coast and out to sea. The cottage is in a little terrace of period properties each with a pretty enclosed front garden. The rear garden has a north-facing patio and lawn, beyond which is that 180 degree view. The traditional porch is ideal for wellies and walking boots and you then step into the open dining-area and through to the separate sitting-room and the kitchen. The kitchen leads straight out onto the main garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - the master with a super-king sized bed, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom with a lovely cabin bed - as well as a stylish contemporary bathroom. There is a very useful utility/store-room for the washing machine and for your wetsuits and surf boards at the back of the cottage with access from the patio.

North Devon is renowned for its dramatic coastline, a contrast of cliffs, coves and challenging coastal paths as well as huge expanses of sandy beaches which are perfect for surfing and for all the family. Just a few miles to the north, you can see where Exmoor National Park touches the coast and this wild and unspoilt scenery is exciting to explore whatever the time of year. To the south the surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands stretch for miles. Just a mile or so downhill from the cottage is the nearest cove at Hele Bay on the edge of Ilfracombe - which also has a pretty fishing harbour and boat trips on offer - and there is a sandy beach at Combe Martin just the other side of Berrynarbour. The village itself has a great pub and a thriving community shop - both within walking distance although uphill on the way back! Easter Cottage is a perfect base for a holiday to suit all interests and activities and is a peaceful retreat to return to after a day out in the fresh sea air.
