A tranquil rural location close to sandy beaches and coastal towns, Little Chygowlin is the perfect place for days out on the water, nights out in town or toes up in front of a toasty wood-burner. This gorgeous property has been beautifully decorated throughout; the open plan living-room is accessed from the wooden deck that looks out over the garden, great for evening meals as the sun sets over the fields beyond.
With a high beamed ceiling and a big comfy corner sofa facing the wood-burner, you have everything you need to unwind and relax. The contemporary kitchen-area has stunning granite work surfaces and fulfils all your culinary needs. The bedroom is on the lower ground floor, looking out over a cobbled courtyard and gardens. There's plantation shutters at the windows, under-floor heating, clever storage and a superbly comfortable king-size bed with soft Egyptian cotton bed linens. The fabulous shower-room has a double size walk-in shower with a big monsoon shower head. The ambient lighting and under-floor heating make this a luxurious room and set the scene for relaxation. Little Chygowlin shares this fabulous location with Chygowlin House (4129), each property has its own garden and private parking.
There is a big wooden deck outside the living-room with a garden area beyond. The deck has sun from mid-morning to sunset and is fabulous for sunbathing, outside dining and sundowners. Beyond the dedicated parking-area is a huge level meadow – almost an acre – bordered by trees on one side and a woodland hedge on the other, offering widespread countryside views and ample space to throw down a picnic rug, linger with a book or just relax and unwind to the sounds of birds and bees. Little Chygowlin is set in a great location to explore all Cornwall has to offer, from beaches to coastal walks, and many fantastic restaurants. Discover the beautiful gardens at Trelissick, dabble in watersports, enjoy one of the delicious cakes at Loe Beach or meander into Falmouth to eat at one of the many restaurants.
The Roseland is easily within reach - you can hop on the King Harry Ferry, which is an adventure itself - where you can discover quiet beaches, stunning walks and see if you can find The Hidden Hut. With so much to discover, you will want to come back time and time again.
