Gadwall Rise, is a modern link-detached property located in Lelant, birthplace of famous author Rosamund Pilcher. It is a lovely, family friendly property and the ideal place to stay for touring this part of Cornwall.

Located over three floors, the ground floor entrance hall and cloakroom lead to a garden-room with access to the patio. The lovely open plan living-room fills the space on the first floor and includes a very well-equipped kitchen with dining-area. The second floor is home to two well presented and comfortable bedrooms, one with en suite shower-room and the family bathroom. There is parking for one small to medium sized car to the front of the property.

The Hayle Estuary, is just a couple of miles away and a bird watchers dream, with curlews, little egrets, and oystercatchers amongst the flock - what will you spot?

Taking the little train from St Erth to St Ives is a joy not to be missed and no introduction is needed for this much painted tourist hot spot, crammed with cafes, restaurants and art galleries. Do partake in some retail therapy whilst there and enjoy an obligatory ice cream from one of the many outlets.

Gadwall Rise really is a super base for exploring further afield with Lands End, St Michaels Mount and picturesque Newlyn and Mousehole must sees! The Art Deco saltwater lido known as Jubilee pool at Penzance (open during the warmer months) is worth a visit and for lovers of speed, Coast to Coast Karting can be found in St Erth.

The National Trust's Godolphin House hosts events throughout the year and walks around the estate are fun for all the family. Bring your walking boots, your binoculars and beach attire to make the most of your holiday in this fabulous part of Cornwall.
