Interiors designed by Helen Hughes and using reclaimed timbers alongside carefully selected fixtures, soft furnishings and luxurious lines, Landlubber, a ground floor luxury apartment, is the perfect place for a truly special holiday. This stylish living space offers a truly unique holiday experience right in the heart of Falmouth. Guests staying in the apartments have full access to the Merchants Manor hotel next door, one of Cornwall's finest privately owned and established hotels, where alongside the bar, lounge and restaurant you will also find a wellness spa, swimming pool and Technogym with pre-bookable classes from yoga to BoxFit and Zumba to Tai Chi. Whether you like to relax and do very little on holiday, or prefer to get a bit more active during your time away, there is something here for everyone. After a day out exploring, fold back the terrace doors and climb into the warm bubbling water in the Jacuzzi hot tub where you can spend the evening gazing up at the stars with a glass of fizz, and when it's time for dinner you can cook up a treat with locally-sourced produce in the bespoke kitchen or why not let someone else worry about the washing up and book yourself a table in the Rastella restaurant next door.
Situated a short walk from the sea and from the maritime town centre, you are within a 15 minute walk of the beautiful sandy beach at Gyllyngvase and the same distance to both the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Falmouth Art Gallery, so leave the car parked up or even travel to Cornwall by train as there is so much to do right on the doorstep. The thriving harbour at Falmouth is also the gateway to the beautiful Fal River, which runs through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and if it's the water you like, you can also take the ferry across to the pretty town of St Mawes on the Roseland peninsula, a lovely journey to take particularly on a sunny day. Falmouth itself also has a creative buzz, with many venues showcasing independent films and live bands alongside art galleries displaying contemporary works, and is known for its year-round events calendar, so you may find that you need to come back again for another stay simply to fit it all in!
