Rural in feel, yet only a five minute stroll to the village shop and pub, Wisteria Cottage is perfect for those who want to get away from it all yet have everything close at hand. Tucked away at the end of a short track in the pretty village of St Teath, this is a charming and deceptively spacious cottage providing a warm welcome to all who stay. Snuggle up in front of the open fire in the sitting-room during cooler months and lounge in the best of the Cornish sunshine on the decking-area in the garden. Take your morning coffee on the balcony embracing the countryside views and at the end of the day challenge everyone to a holiday game of pool - such fun! For family and friends, young and old, and or course any four-legged friends, Wisteria Cottage will prove a winner with all!
Both inside and out this cottage is delightful. The country kitchen with its range-style cooker has plenty of room for everyone to help out when preparing your holiday meals and this leads through to the sunny conservatory which looks out to the pretty garden. Open-tread stairs head up from the sitting-room to the four gorgeous bedrooms, two accessing the first floor balcony and the master bedroom with an en suite wet-room. The stunning family bathroom complete with free-standing bath is on the first floor and there's a shower-room on the ground floor - ideal for those who want to rinse off as soon as you get back from a day at the beach. Outside, beds of lupins, scented roses and of course climbing wisteria add to the charm of the cottage. Steps lead up through the borders to the decked barbecue-area and summer-house (please take care with children around the small pond and with the steps) and the large lawned area and meadow with provide great enjoyment (please keep dogs on a lead in the meadow when livestock are in the adjoining fields). Wisteria Cottage is ideally located for exploring all the delights this part of Cornwall has on offer. The quintessential fishing village of Port Isaac of 'Doc Martin' and Nathan Outlaw fame is close by as are the stunning beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay. The coastal footpath along this section of coast is just breathtaking and could occupy you for an entire week alone! Take the foot ferry from Rock to Padstow, the foodie capital of Cornwall, and indulge in culinary treats to your heart's content and enjoy time on two wheels cycling the beautiful Camel Trail along the estuary to Wadebridge and beyond.
